Servicing Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, and surrounding regions.
With any of our services, the Mobile Data Shredding representative will be prompt, efficient and cause zero disruption in your daily activities.
In all cases you are encouraged to have internal personnel witness the destruction process from transport, to loading, to shredding. The mobile shredder system is equipped with a video monitor to provide proof-positive that your documents are completely shredded in the process.
In every instance you will be given a receipt including date, time, and material removed. In addition, a Certificate of Destruction is provided, ensuring compliance, chain-of-custody and release of liability for the documents or tape that have been destroyed.
OUR SERVICES CAN BE CLASSIFIED INTO THREE BROAD CATEGORIES:
ON DEMAND SERVICE
For projects, consolidation of storage, general clean up and unscheduled or non-recurring requirements we can quickly, effectively and thoroughly destroy printed or magnetically stored information through secure on-site shredding.
Simply contact us and we will schedule a time convenient for you. Those times can be during normal working hours, off peak, second or third shift, or even weekends.
Through you direction, our trained Field Support Representative will stage the material to be shredded, whether it be in containers, boxes, palletized, etc. The material is then loaded into the mobile shredder using a unique automated tipper technology and monitored via a remote operator control panel, adding considerably to security of the procedure.
The entire process can be quite fast, depending on the size of the project, as our mobile shredder can process up to 8,000 lbs of paper per hour.
SCHEDULED SERVICE
Security compliance and proper handling of sensitive documents and other media require a routinely scheduled destruction procedure.
Staging private files in boxes or cabinets for extended periods of time puts voids in internal security measures, can be unsightly and will certainly occupy valuable work and storage space.
We will place secure, locked containers in strategic locations in your facility at no charge. Some of these containers are suited for large capacity and others to fit better with office decor.
Employees can insert documents, binders, clip boards, folders including paper clips, clamps, cd’s, computer tape cartridges, film, video tape, etc. into the containers’ one-way slots with all confidence that these materials will be destroyed securely, with no risk of viewing or copying by in-house or external personnel.
On a regularly scheduled basis, generally weekly, biweekly, or monthly, our Field Support Representative will arrive, remove the full containers to the mobile shredder and replace the containers in their original positions.
Using locked containers enhances security, as there is no human intervention with the material in all stages--from disposal, transport to the on-location mobile system and finally the shredding.
SPECIAL SERVICES
Computer Tape Cartridge and Hard Drive destruction has become a very sensitive issue in recent years. Considering that hundreds of gigabytes of data can be stored on these densely packed magnetic media, thousands and thousands of files, including names, addresses, social security numbers, credit card information, financial records, to name a few, are held in some very small packages.
Shipping these tapes off for incineration is a security risk in transport. Dropping them in a dumpster is wrought with potential identity theft by dumpster-divers and is almost always a threat to EPA standards.
Hard Drive eradication, wiping, or degaussing is not an absolute guarantee that all data has been removed. The software, on-site or off-site services available can be quite expensive and are extremely time consuming.
Additional Tape and Hard Drive Services include on-site degaussing, eradication and barcode scanning to provide higher levels of security. Tape Buy Back options are available as well.
To further enhance the Computer Tape Cartridge and Hard Drive destruction services, we can provide a Barcode Scanning Process which provides further security in your needs to properly dispose of this sensitive data. Each tape cartridge or hard drive’s volume/serial number will be scanned and recorded before the shredding function. You will be provided with a report listing those individual numbers as hard evidence of your destruction procedure.
